Senior Facilities Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Engineer to support their expanding operations in the Oil & Gas sector, with the role based remotely, supporting assets near Port Elizabeth . This position will be responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and integrity of production facilities, ensuring they meet safety, environmental, and operational standards. You will play a key role in project execution, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a remote employee, you will collaborate closely with on-site teams and management, utilizing advanced communication tools to ensure seamless operations and project delivery.

• Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of new production facilities and modifications.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure asset integrity and reliability.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions for facility equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage vendor performance and technical support for facility-related activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in project management, asset integrity, and process safety.
• Strong understanding of rotating and static equipment, P&IDs, and process simulation.
