Telecom Solutions Architect

Our client is looking for an innovative and strategic Telecom Solutions Architect to join their fully remote, forward-thinking technology team. This senior role is responsible for designing high-level technical solutions that address complex business challenges within the telecommunications domain. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, architect scalable and secure systems, and guide the development process from conception to implementation.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical understanding across various telecom technologies and a proven ability to translate business needs into effective technological strategies, all while operating effectively in a distributed, remote-first work environment.

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end telecom solutions, incorporating network, cloud, and application components.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to define solution architectures that meet client needs and business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, specifications, and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with advancements in telecommunications, cloud computing, and related technologies.

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications, with at least 5 years in a solutions architecture or senior engineering role.
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP), wireless technologies (5G, LTE), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, resilient, and secure telecom systems.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
