Our client is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Remote Chemical Engineer to spearhead special projects from a remote location. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on innovative and challenging initiatives that span across different areas of chemical engineering, contributing to strategic advancements for the company. You will be responsible for defining project scopes, conducting feasibility studies, and driving the development and implementation of novel solutions.
The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with a broad range of chemical engineering expertise and the ability to manage diverse projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Lead and manage a variety of special chemical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and risk assessments for new process ideas.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.
- Analyze and interpret technical data to provide recommendations and drive decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of diverse experience in chemical engineering, including project management and process development.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with various chemical processes and technologies.
