Senior Civil Engineer - Geotechnical Specialization

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering to join their dynamic, fully remote team. • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations , including site assessments, soil testing, and data analysis.
• Develop detailed foundation designs , slope stability analyses, and earth retention systems for diverse civil engineering projects.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff remotely.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Perform peer reviews of geotechnical designs and reports generated by other team members.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering design and analysis.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, Geo Studio, or similar analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, hydrogeology, and foundation engineering principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration and client interaction.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
