Division Leader

Remote is okay for this role with the occasional travel to one of the offices in Boston, Orange County. and/or Michigan.

The Sr. Technical Sales Division Leader will be responsible for working with current and potential customers to grow Polytec's surface metrology division.

• Utilize sales practices to generate and develop new customers while effectively managing existing customers
• Analyze sales and market data to summarize and report on business and market trends
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and closes
• Provide product feedback and development opportunities to enhance sales profitability
• Stay updated on sales and business job knowledge as well as maintaining professional connections and networks
• Promote positive company culture and business ethics through ongoing business relationships and activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university
• 3+ years experience in the surface/optical metrology industry and/or any adjacent industries
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Anticipate and meet customer needs
• High degree of self-motivation, drive, and desire to improve
• Make self-development and professional improvement a priority
• Ability to handle rejection, deal with pressure, and receive negative constructive developmental feedback
• Must have strong business education and administration knowledge
