Position: Electrical Draughtsperson / Designer
About the Role  Our client seeks a skilled Electrical Draughtsperson / Designer to join their technical team supporting projects across various sectors in Kimberley . This role is essential for translating engineering concepts into accurate and detailed electrical drawings and documentation. You will work closely with engineers to produce high-quality designs for power distribution, control panels, and wiring systems. The ideal candidate is proficient in CAD software and has a keen eye for detail, ensuring all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities   Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
Assist engineers in the design process by creating models, diagrams, and component lists.
Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, client specifications, and relevant industry codes (e.g., SANS).
Review and update existing electrical documentation as required.
Coordinate with project teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
Maintain organized electronic and hard copy drawing archives.
Requirements   National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Draughting.
Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson or Designer.
High proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
Understanding of electrical symbols, standards, and terminology.
Familiarity with power distribution, control systems, and schematics.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
