Remote Industrial Engineer - Continuous Improvement

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Continuous Improvement to support their operations, which include facilities in Klerksdorp . This fully remote position requires an individual who can drive significant operational enhancements through data analysis, process redesign, and the implementation of lean methodologies, all from a remote setting. You will collaborate virtually with site teams and management across various locations, focusing on optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving productivity within the North West province and beyond.

• Lead and facilitate virtual continuous improvement projects using lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for performance enhancement.
• Develop and document improved processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct remote assessments of existing processes and recommend strategic changes for efficiency and cost savings.
• Train and mentor operational teams on continuous improvement techniques through virtual platforms.
• Track and report on the progress and impact of improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing tools, Six Sigma methodologies (certification highly desirable), and process mapping.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical software, and project management tools.
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a virtual environment.
