Telecoms Project Engineer; SISS

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE | Full-Time | Nationwide Projects

Interlinx is working with a leading principal contractor to supporting with finding a hands-on Telecoms Project Engineer with a SISS railway background to join their team, working on major National Grid and London Underground projects. This role will require travelling and staying away from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has worked their way up from the tools and is ready to step into a project engineering role, with a clear pathway into project management and senior leadership.

• Support the delivery of SISS telecoms works across National Grid and London Underground projects.
• Work with CCTV, PA, PHP, CIS, and access control systems.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, materials, and project programmes.
• Ensure works are delivered safely on time and to the required specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

• SISS rail experience, ideally across CCTV, PA, PHP, CIS and access control systems.
• A strong hands-on engineering background with ambitions to progress into project engineering and management.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home during the working week.

• £55,000-£65,000 salary, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Full-time position with a leading principal contractor.
• Exposure to major infrastructure projects with long-term career progression into management.
