Our client is looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This role focuses on providing expert process design, optimization, and technical support to various projects and facilities, all managed from a remote location. You will leverage advanced simulation tools and your deep understanding of chemical engineering principles to drive efficiency, safety, and innovation across different operational sites.

- Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes using advanced simulation and modeling software.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for existing plant operations.
- Develop process documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, and operational manuals.
- Conduct process safety reviews and risk assessments remotely, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Collaborate effectively with on-site teams and other remote personnel through digital communication platforms.
- Research and propose innovative solutions and technologies to improve process performance and sustainability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a significant portion involving design and optimization.
- Proficiency in industry-standard process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration.
