About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer with a passion for building design to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is crucial for designing the structural integrity of a wide range of buildings, from residential complexes to commercial spaces. You will collaborate with architects and construction teams globally, utilizing advanced modeling and analysis software. - Perform structural analysis and design for new building projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and standards.
- Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports using advanced structural analysis software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs seamlessly.
- Conduct site inspections remotely where feasible or liaise with on-site personnel for critical assessments.
- Review and approve shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries during the construction phase.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on building design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Structural Engineer (PSE) license is required.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP
2000, or STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote teamwork and client interaction.
