Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a dedicated Process Engineer to join their operational team based in Tembisa . This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations by designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes. You will play a key part in driving continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and supporting the production team in achieving operational excellence.

• Evaluate current production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement new process designs and modifications, ensuring they align with safety and quality standards.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives and eliminate waste.
• Conduct process capability studies and implement control strategies to maintain consistent product quality.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on new and existing processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and process performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
