Civil Design Drafter

Our client is looking for a meticulous and talented Civil Design Drafter to join their team in Stellenbosch . This hybrid role combines essential on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, focusing on the detailed technical drawings and plans required for civil engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers to translate concepts into precise, constructible documentation. • Produce detailed engineering drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects using CAD software.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, company standards, and relevant building codes.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to review and refine designs, incorporating feedback into revisions.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in team meetings, both in-person and virtually, to coordinate drafting tasks.

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or Drafting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Civil Design Drafter.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction terminology.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote duties.
