Environmental Civil Engineer - Mpumalanga Mine Rehabilitation

Our client, a specialized environmental consultancy based near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga , is seeking an Environmental Civil Engineer to contribute to significant mine rehabilitation projects. This role focuses on designing and implementing civil engineering solutions to remediate disturbed land, manage water quality, and ensure environmental compliance in post-mining landscapes. Key responsibilities include site assessments, erosion control design, water management infrastructure development, and liaising with regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental engineering principles applied to civil works and a passion for ecological restoration. This position offers a unique blend of office-based design work and essential fieldwork in challenging environments.
