Geotechnical Civil Engineer Coastal Projects

Our client, a dynamic engineering consultancy with a strong presence in Durban, Kwa Zulu-Natal , is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Civil Engineer to contribute to their expanding portfolio of coastal and marine projects. This role involves conducting site investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures essential for coastal development and protection. The successful candidate will play a key part in assessing ground conditions, mitigating risks associated with challenging terrains, and ensuring the stability and longevity of critical infrastructure.

Working within a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to engage with diverse projects, from port expansions to coastal defenses, making a tangible impact on the region's development. This position requires extensive fieldwork and collaboration with site teams, making it an office-based and project-site-centric role. This is a full-time, non-remote position based in our Durban office.
