Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a fully remote position, ideally based in or near Kimberley . You will lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and components, ensuring high standards of innovation and quality. This role demands a deep technical understanding, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. You will be instrumental in driving key projects from concept through to successful implementation, working collaboratively with a distributed team and contributing to the company's technological advancements.

• Lead the electrical design process for new products and systems, from concept to production.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and component selections.
• Conduct thorough design reviews, simulations, and analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical design issues and support product testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Over 6 years of experience in electrical design and development.
• Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout software.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
• Experience with simulation tools and design for manufacturability (DFM).
