Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Industrial Engineer to join their team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a blend of on-site engagement and remote work. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing process improvements within manufacturing and production environments. Your focus will be on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process modifications using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes.
- Collaborate with production staff and management to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Monitor process performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process improvement .
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adaptable to both remote and on-site work.
