Our client seeks a dedicated Remote Structural Analysis Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. In this role, you will focus on advanced structural analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure the integrity and performance of diverse engineering structures, including bridges, high-rise buildings, and specialized industrial components. You will work autonomously, collaborating virtually with project managers and design engineers to provide critical analytical insights that inform design decisions.

- Perform complex structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Conduct dynamic analysis, modal analysis, and stress analysis for various structural elements and systems.
- Interpret analysis results and provide clear, concise reports with design recommendations.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize structural performance and material usage.
- Ensure adherence to relevant design codes and standards (e.g., SANS, Eurocode).
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural analysis techniques and software.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in advanced structural analysis and simulation.
- Expertise in FEA software packages such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of mechanics of materials and structural dynamics.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
