• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of advanced mechanical systems for aerospace propulsion applications.
• Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
• Conduct in-depth mechanical analysis, including stress, thermal, fatigue, and vibration analysis, using advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD).
• Oversee the integration of mechanical subsystems, ensuring compatibility and performance across the entire system.
• Develop and manage technical specifications, design documentation, and test plans for propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g., electrical, software, materials) to ensure integrated system design and functionality.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for mechanical systems.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in aerospace propulsion systems.

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical systems engineering, with a significant focus on aerospace propulsion systems.
• Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics as applied to propulsion.
• Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works) and advanced CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, STAR-CCM+).
• Demonstrated experience with propulsion system components such as turbines, compressors, combustion chambers, and nozzles.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with aerospace standards and qualification processes (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD).
• Familiarity with control systems for mechanical systems is advantageous.
