Remote Lead Electrical Engineer; Infrastructure

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for complex infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks.
• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers in a remote setting.
• Develop detailed electrical design documents, including single-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and local regulations.
• Perform and review power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, mechanical) to ensure integrated project design.
• Oversee the technical review of vendor submittals and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects.
• Contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and infrastructure technologies.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex design projects.
• Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, ASPEN).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices for infrastructure development.
• Strong understanding of protection systems, grounding, and substation design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA or equivalent international credential is required.
• Experience working on international projects is a significant advantage.
