Senior Civil Engineer - Water Resources Management; Remote

• Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and tender documents.
• Oversee the construction and rehabilitation of water and wastewater systems.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, water use licenses, and national standards.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to water resource engineering.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in water resources engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• Proven experience in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, HEC-RAS) and GIS.
• Demonstrated expertise in water supply systems, wastewater treatment processes, and stormwater management.
• Strong understanding of South African water legislation and environmental impact assessment processes.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, vital for remote collaboration.
