- Lead the technical design reviews and provide expert guidance on electrical system design choices.
- Collaborate with product management, software development, and hardware engineering teams to translate requirements into robust electrical system designs.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with electrical system design and implementation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our architectures remain state-of-the-art.
- Mentor and guide a global team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and develop effective solutions.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical system design and architecture, with a significant focus on power electronics, energy storage, or grid-connected systems.
- Proven track record of designing complex, large-scale electrical systems.
- Deep understanding of power system analysis, control theory, and hardware/software co-design.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD) and system modeling.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
