• Conceptualize, design, and develop novel chemical processes for a variety of industrial applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot plant trials to validate process designs and optimize operating parameters.
• Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to model and analyze process performance.
• Perform detailed process calculations, including mass and energy balances, reaction kinetics, and thermodynamics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues encountered during development and scale-up.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to translate laboratory findings into viable industrial processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the process lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. A Ph.D. is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in process development, design, and optimization within the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat/mass transfer.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software is mandatory.
• Experience with pilot plant operations and scale-up of chemical processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with HAZOP studies and process safety management principles.
