• Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, including product managers, electrical engineers, and software developers, via digital collaboration tools.
• Oversee or coordinate prototype development, testing, and validation processes remotely.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability across various production methods.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, materials, and design trends relevant to product innovation.
• Document design iterations, analysis results, and testing outcomes thoroughly.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and ideation processes for new product development.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, with a portfolio showcasing innovation.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, Fusion 360) and FEA simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of diverse manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, 3D printing).
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise remote collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
• Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
