Remote Senior Control Systems Engineer

• Design, develop, and implement PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for various industrial automation applications.
• Configure and troubleshoot control system hardware and software across multiple platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional design specifications, P&IDs, and user manuals.
• Perform remote system diagnostics, testing, and commissioning.
• Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their automation requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Work closely with software development, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to ensure integrated system design.
• Provide remote technical support and training to end-users and site engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation technology and propose improvements.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for remote engineering and system design.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards and industry best practices for automation.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on PLC/SCADA/HMI development.
• Proficiency in programming languages for major PLC brands (e.g., ladder logic, structured text, function block diagram).
• Experience with various SCADA and HMI software packages.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues remotely.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, essential for a remote role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience with virtual collaboration tools and remote work technologies.
• Familiarity with system integration and enterprise-level automation solutions is a plus.
