, is seeking a talented BMS Estimator to support bids and tenders across landmark projects in the Commercial, science, healthcare, infrastructure, and defence sectors
. This is a unique opportunity to influence the design and delivery of next-generation smart building solutions from the ground up.
As a BMS Estimator, you'll provide strategic estimating insight and technical expertise to support a wide range of complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for Building Management Systems - from control panels to field devices and integration
- Reviewing specifications, drawings, and documentation to define BMS scope and ensure compliance
- Evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations and contributing to commercial strategy
- Supporting bid teams with risk, value engineering, and margin input
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across engineering, planning, procurement, and design
- Leading or supporting tender efforts across multiple high-profile projects
- Preparing clear and comprehensive handover documentation for delivery teams
- Proven experience estimating BMS systems within the construction or building services sector
- Strong technical knowledge of BMS infrastructure, control philosophies, and system architecture
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on familiarity with BMS controls such as Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or Tridium
- Understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g. BS EN 15232, CIBSE Guide H)
- Background in design, commissioning, or engineering
- Knowledge of procurement, cost planning, and estimating tools
- Exposure to healthcare, science, or secure government projects
