Remote Production Systems Engineer - Automation Focus

• Design, develop, and implement automated control systems for manufacturing processes.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors on automation projects.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure functionality and performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and implement new technologies.
• Provide remote technical support and training to plant operations teams.
• Stay current with advancements in automation technology, robotics, and IIoT.
• Ensure all implemented systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., KUKA, Fanuc, ABB).
• Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition and process monitoring systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across different locations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment.
