Remote Drone Systems Integration Specialist

This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge drone projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for the integration of various hardware and software components into complex drone systems, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

This role requires a deep understanding of drone platforms, payloads, communication systems, and flight control software. We are looking for an innovative problem-solver who can effectively troubleshoot and validate integrated drone solutions in a virtual collaboration environment. Your work will be critical in advancing our capabilities in autonomous flight and aerial solutions.

• Integrate and configure various drone platforms, payloads, sensors, and communication systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of integrated drone systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software integration issues encountered during development and testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and robotics specialists to ensure system compatibility.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system integration, configuration, and testing procedures.
• Research and evaluate new drone technologies, components, and software for potential integration.
• Support the design and modification of custom drone solutions for specific client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational best practices for drone systems.
• Provide technical support and expertise on drone system integration to internal teams.
• Stay current with advancements in UAV technology and relevant regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in drone systems integration, development, or operations.
• Hands-on experience with various drone platforms (e.g., DJI, custom-built systems) and flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk, Ardu Pilot).
• Proficiency with drone communication protocols and telemetry systems.
• Experience integrating payloads such as cameras, LiDAR, or other sensors.
• Understanding of embedded systems and basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with UAV regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
