Position: Aerodynamics Expert (MSc. or PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80 - $120/hour
Location: Global, fully remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities- Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems
- Translate physical requirements into computational models and solver-ready cases
- Create or modify geometries, computational domains, and meshes
- Define initial and boundary conditions, fluid properties, and solver settings
- Run CFD and aerodynamic analysis workflows using command-line tools
- Use Python to automate preprocessing, simulation, and validation tasks
- Diagnose issues related to non-convergence and physically invalid outputs
- MS or PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with specialization
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics
- Experience in formulating and executing CFD or aerodynamic analyses
- Proficiency in Python and relevant engineering tools or libraries
- Ability to justify modeling assumptions and boundary conditions
- Clear communication of technical reasoning and engineering trade-offs
- Familiarity with CLI-accessible tools and programmatic engineering software
