CAD Detailer | Events, Activations, Exhibits

We are looking for a meticulous CAD Detailer to join our team in our Hillsboro, Oregon facility. As a CAD Detailer, you will be responsible for creating and refining 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software. The successful candidate should be able to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications and be comfortable communicating value engineering options with team members. Common materials include wood, steel, aluminum, acrylic, expanded PVC.

No two projects are the same. You'll be providing solutions to new engineering opportunities daily. This is an in office position--the only way to be face to face with the builders in our shop on the daily.

• Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings using Solid Works (or AutoCAD 2024, Rhino, Sketch Up, Inventor)
• Work with the project team to provide engineering solutions
• Make sure the drawings work--meet and client requirements and our processes
• Collaborate with project teams to develop drawings and resolve issues
• Ensure that all designs are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines
• Draw cool stuff
• Create CNC ready files
• Maintain project records and update drawings as needed

• 5+ years of experience creating and refining 2D and 3D CAD drawings
• 5+ years of experience detailing in the exhibit, event or permanent install industries
• Strong understanding of CAD software. Preference to Solid Works, open to AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Rhino, Inventor
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
