Remote Telecommunications Network Architect

Our client is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Remote Telecommunications Network Architect to lead the design and strategic development of their next-generation network infrastructure. • Design and architect end-to-end telecommunications network solutions, including core, edge, and access layers.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for network evolution and technology adoption.
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware, software, and protocols to meet network requirements.
• Ensure network designs are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and best practices.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance to network engineers and designers.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in telecommunications networking.
• Identify opportunities for network optimization and performance improvement.
• Develop and document standards and guidelines for network implementation and operations.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field;
  PhD is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications network design, engineering, and architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SDN, NFV, and cloud networking.
• Experience with various telecommunications technologies such as fiber optics, wireless (4G/5G), and satellite communications.
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, complex network infrastructures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Experience with network modeling and simulation tools is beneficial.
• Understanding of security principles and their integration into network architecture.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a remote setting.
