Senior Water Engineer - Wastewater Treatment Specialist

• Lead the design and engineering of conventional and advanced wastewater treatment plants and systems.
• Develop process designs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications for wastewater treatment facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, treatability studies, and pilot testing programs.
• Perform hydraulic and mass balance calculations for treatment processes.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international environmental standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders in a virtual environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
• Oversee the construction and commissioning phases of treatment projects through remote supervision and support.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend process improvements for existing facilities.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in wastewater treatment and water reuse.

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering, with a specialization in Water/Wastewater Treatment.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the design and management of wastewater treatment projects.
• In-depth knowledge of various wastewater treatment technologies (e.g., activated sludge, M , anaerobic digestion, nutrient removal).
• Proficiency in relevant design software and modeling tools (e.g., Bio Win, EPANET).
• Strong understanding of water quality parameters, regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a distributed team.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects remotely.
