Substation Estimator

I'm working with a leading power contractor who is currently going through a massive growth phase and are needing experienced substation estimators to come in and grow with the company

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bids for substation construction projects
• Carrying out quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Pricing labor, materials, equipment and subcontractor packages
• Working with operations and project management to build accurate, competitive proposals
• Supporting bid strategy and client pre-bid meetings as needed

• Estimating experience with a substation, transmission or utility electrical contractor
• A strong grasp of substation scopes, from civil and foundations through to electrical and commissioning
• Confidence with estimating software and take-off tools
• Someone organised and detail-driven who can manage multiple bids at once

• $140,000 – $150,000 base salary
• Bonus of up to 15%
• Fully remote working, with occasional travel to Philadelphia
• 4 weeks PTO
