In this critical core network engineering and resident engineering role, you will be responsible for providing dedicated technical support, managing 5G Standalone (SA) core network nodes, and executing upgrade procedures for IMS MRF products.

As an IMS MRF Engineer supporting Lorventech in a remote capacity across the USA and Canada, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of 5G core network support, media resource function maintenance, upgrade execution, and incident resolution as a dedicated Resident Engineer (RE). Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing comprehensive resident engineering support for 5G MRF products and related telecom core network nodes, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for core network nodes and customer lab operations, creating, reviewing, and executing rigorous Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for software upgrades and system updates, troubleshooting complex technical issues across 5G Standalone (SA) and 4G/5G core environments, driving rapid outage remediation and comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), working closely with customer engineering teams based on approved High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Configuration Integration Questionnaire (CIQ), and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation, operating strictly within customer-specific solution customizations and defined SOW scope and exclusions, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of configuration scripts, test logs, and operational runbooks, and managing application requirements by sending your updated resume via direct email or Linked In direct message to Ganesh Karthick at  You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex core network and media processing bottlenecks under strict service level agreements.

• Provide dedicated resident engineering support for 5G IMS Media Resource Function (MRF) products and core network nodes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IMS MRF nodes and support customer lab environments and daily operations.
• Create, review, and execute rigorous Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for software upgrades, patches, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across 5G Standalone (SA) and 4G/5G core network architectures and call flows.
• Conduct comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident remediation for network outages and system anomalies.
• Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams following approved HLD, LLD, CIQ, and SOW documentation.
