Telecommunications Systems Analyst

Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a highly analytical Telecommunications Systems Analyst to join their remote team. • Analyze the performance and efficiency of existing telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video networks.
• Identify system vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and areas for potential optimization.
• Develop and implement analytical models to predict system behavior and performance trends.
• Research and evaluate new telecommunications technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design and implement system upgrades and modifications.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on system analysis findings, recommendations, and project progress.
• Define system requirements and specifications for new telecommunications solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in telecommunications systems analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all system analyses and recommendations.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in telecommunications systems analysis, design, or engineering.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications principles, network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, MPLS), and technologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
• Experience with network simulation and modeling software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and standards.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and capacity planning.
