Aerospace Electrical Systems Engineer

• Design and develop electrical power systems, wiring harnesses, and associated components for aerospace applications.
• Integrate electrical systems with other aircraft subsystems, such as avionics, propulsion, and flight controls.
• Perform detailed electrical load analyses, fault-tolerance studies, and signal integrity analyses.
• Develop and execute test plans for electrical components and systems, both in simulation and on hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues throughout the design, integration, and flight testing phases.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, design documentation, and specifications using CAD tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, software, systems) in a remote setting.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant aerospace standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ARP) and safety requirements.
• Stay current with emerging electrical technologies and best practices in the aerospace industry.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical design processes and tools.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical systems design and integration within the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Proven experience with power distribution systems, E/E architecture design, and wiring harness design.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, crucial for effective remote teamwork.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
• Experience with DO-254 and systems safety assessments is a plus.
