Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace

• Perform aerodynamic and thermodynamic simulations to optimize system performance.
• Generate detailed technical documentation, including schematics, manufacturing drawings, and testing protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with a remote, multidisciplinary engineering team, including systems, electrical, and software engineers.
• Oversee and interpret results from prototyping and testing phases, implementing design modifications as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) and company quality protocols.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the remote team structure.
• Contribute to concept development, trade studies, and technology roadmaps for future aerospace programs.

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and analysis within the aerospace industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in structural mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and vibrations in an aerospace context.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard CAE tools (ANSYS, Nastran, Fluent, etc.) and 3D CAD software.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry regulations.
• Proven experience leading complex design projects.
