Millwork Engineer; Not Remote

Studio Woodwork is a millwork engineering firm specializing in meeting the needs of upscale Architectural Woodwork companies throughout the country. We are currently seeking an individual with experience producing detailed submittal drawings for client approval. Experience engineering corporate interiors for a medium or large mill worker and possessing some hands-on shop or installation experience is a plus. This is a position with room to learn and grow.

• Review architectural drawings and specifications to understand fabrication requirements for a project.
• Produce time-sensitive, submittal-ready drawings within AutoCAD.
• Coordinate information from all relevant scopes of work, including plumbing, electrical, and other related trades.
• Review and understand the project scope to develop an understanding of what is to be drawn.
• Ensure that engineered product can be safely shipped, delivered, and installed without defects.
• Implement redlines and field dimensions

• At least 1 year of experience engineering high-end commercial and residential millwork in a workplace environment preferred.
• General knowledge of stone and metal fabrication.
• Exceptionally strong mechanical/problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading architectural drawings and specifications.
• Effective communicator.
• Track record of excellent performance, attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Thoroughly check work for conformance to company and project-related drawing standards before internal submittal.
• Ability to meet submittal deadlines.

• This is an in-person position at our Fort Mill, SC office

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 per hour based on experience, with room to grow and overtime opportunities.

Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day between 6 AM and 6 PM (flexible schedule).
