Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to drive our vision. The ideal candidate is an expert in Electrical design for high density compute. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require experience reviewing electrical distribution and validation against industry standards. Develop and review electrical design packages: power distribution, switch gear, generators, UPS, and busway

Ensure electrical designs meet capacity, redundancy, and code requirements across sites

Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and commissioning on integrated system design

Support constructibility reviews and RFI resolution during construction and site selection

Act as electrical SME in client/tenant design reviews and technical due diligence sessions as needed, translating design decisions into terms a non-engineering client audience can act on

Mentor junior electrical engineers on the design team

$135,000 – $180,000

Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws
