Water Resources Engineer - Municipal Infrastructure

This role is essential for the design, development, and management of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems for various municipal clients. • Design and oversee the development of water and wastewater treatment plants.

• Develop stormwater management plans and designs for urban and rural areas.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for water-related infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
• Liaise with municipal authorities, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and engineering standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resources engineering, focusing on municipal infrastructure.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, Info Works).
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience with project management principles and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-discipline and proactivity.
