Industrial Engineering Intern

• Assist in analyzing existing production processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collect and analyze data related to productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Support the development and implementation of new operational procedures.
• Participate in process mapping and value stream mapping exercises.
• Help in designing and optimizing workflows and layouts.
• Conduct time and motion studies.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with production staff and management to implement changes.
• Learn and utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Must be able to commute to Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal for hybrid work requirements.
