Senior Electrical Systems Engineer - Telecommunications Infrastructure

• Lead the design and architecture of electrical systems for telecommunications facilities, including data centers and base stations.
• Develop specifications for power generation, distribution, UPS, and backup systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, capacity planning, and energy efficiency analyses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, industry standards (e.g., TIA, BICSI), and safety regulations.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and components.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues impacting network reliability.
• Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, including drawings, schematics, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on electrical systems best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose innovative solutions for power management and infrastructure enhancement.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on telecommunications infrastructure, data centers, or critical facilities.
• Proven experience in designing and managing complex power systems, including UPS, generators, and DC power solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network power requirements and standards.
• Familiarity with power system analysis tools and energy management systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
