Aircraft Performance Analyst

, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Aircraft Performance Analyst. This role is crucial for optimizing flight operations, enhancing fuel efficiency, and ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations. • Analyze flight data to monitor and improve aircraft performance, including fuel consumption, flight times, and engine efficiency.
• Develop and maintain performance models and databases for the company's fleet.
• Collaborate with flight crews and operations teams to identify performance discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare regular reports on aircraft performance trends, fuel efficiency initiatives, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all performance analysis activities comply with aviation authority regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct research on new technologies and methodologies to enhance aircraft performance and operational efficiency.
• Support the planning department with performance data for route planning and aircraft scheduling.
• Troubleshoot performance-related issues and provide expert recommendations.
• Assist in the development and validation of aircraft performance manuals.

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis or a similar analytical role within the aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and performance principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python, MATLAB, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly and concisely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA) is an advantage.
• Experience with flight data monitoring (FDM) systems is a plus.
