Develop Rockwell PLC programs remotely from Alberta, supporting commissioning travel and industrial automation across manufacturing facilities and project locations.
This full-time, permanent Control Systems Engineer / Technologist position focuses on Studio 5000, Control Logix, and Factory Talk View SE. You will develop PLC and HMI applications, integrate third-party equipment, and troubleshoot industrial control systems. The work supports reliable system performance during operations and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Studio 5000 PLC programs
- Build and maintain Factory Talk View SE applications
- Integrate equipment and configure protocol converters
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, drives, instrumentation, and networks
- Support startups, testing, commissioning, and field troubleshooting
- Diploma or degree in control systems or electrical engineering
- Hands-on Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 and Control Logix experience
- Factory Talk View SE development and troubleshooting proficiency
- Industrial automation and control troubleshooting experience
- Availability for Alberta, international, and on-call travel requirements
