Senior Manufacturing Engineer; Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on improving manufacturability, lead time, and cost efficiency across custom mechanical parts and new service offerings. You will partner closely with engineering, software, and offshore teams to strengthen quoting accuracy and support data-driven design decisions. In addition, you will help build scalable cost tools and mentor others on manufacturing cost estimation and DFM best practices.

Compensation: $108,000 – $129,000 annually

• Analyze models and drawings to assess manufacturability and lead time
• Generate competitive quotes by combining engineering analysis with platform recommendations
• Build cost calculators to streamline in-house quoting for new services
• Provide design feedback to improve manufacturability and reduce costs
• Collaborate with software teams to enhance automated quoting accuracy
• Coach and mentor engineers on costing and DFM best practices
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate technical work across teams

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or costing/DFM
• Hands-on experience with custom mechanical manufacturing processes including CNC machining and 3D printing
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerancing
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with offshore teams
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
