Community Manager

Your mission

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for passionate and driven Community Manager with a love for gaming and esports to actively contribute to and shape our community activities in close collaboration with the Marketing Team. In this role, you will support the development, engagement, and management of our communities across various platforms – aiming to build a vibrant, inclusive, and positive environment for our fans and partners.

You bring initial experience in community management, are communicative, and enjoy working cross-functionally with other teams. This position is based on-site at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters.

• Support the execution of community strategies across platforms such as Discord, Twitch, or forums
• Actively manage and moderate gaming and esports-related communities
• Plan and execute smaller community activations such as giveaways, polls, or challenges
• Gather and share community feedback with internal teams
• Assist in the creation of community guidelines, FAQs, and communication templates
• Participate in internal briefings, alignment meetings, and – depending on experience – client sessions
• Collaborate with the Community Team on analyzing trends, user behavior, and engagement potential

Required:

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in community management or social media, ideally in a gaming or esports context
• Basic understanding of community platforms
• Strong team spirit, proactivity, and a structured approach to work
• Passion for digital communities, gaming, and esports
• Fluency in both German and English – you know how to adapt your tone to different audiences

Preferred:

• Understanding of basic KPIs and analytics tools
• Experience working with content creators or influencers
