Music Promoter

Are you ready to step into the fast-paced world of live music promotion? Slam Dunk Limited is expanding its promoter team and is looking for an outgoing, dynamic and driven Music Promoter to join our busy team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with live music industry experience who is ready to grow, take ownership of their role and develop a long-term career in concert promotion.

As a Music Promoter, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities across our touring and live events operations, including:

• Routing, budgeting, advancing, administering and marketing tours
• Identifying new talent, spotting trends, and maintaining strong industry relationships
• Working closely with artist agents and managers to find and develop artists in the live market
• Communicating efficiently with internal departments to ensure smooth workflows
• Attending concerts and industry events across the UK on a regular basis
• Contributing to our fast-paced, collaborative and hardworking team environment

Our offices are based in Leeds although remote working will be considered, flexibility to travel and attend events nationwide is essential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a music promoter
• Strong knowledge of the Slam Dunk / alternative / new music live scene
• Good understanding of music blogs and online music platforms
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office & Excel
• High level of numeracy and experience managing budgets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload in a high-pressure environment
• A professional manner when dealing with artists, agents and managers
• A proactive, reliable and trustworthy attitude
• A friendly, outgoing and approachable personality
• Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends and late nights as required
