Customer Service Rep
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for addressing client and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions.
This role requires internet upload and download speeds of at least 80
Mbps.
This is a remote position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Answer phone calls, return phone calls
- Answer emails from clients, providers and internal referring offices
- Review previous history of the provider in Med Check, Scheck and Sales Cloud
- Consult with Supervisor or other departments to clarify answers to inquiries
- Contact provider to discuss findings at the appropriate level
- Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Medical terminology and coding knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience working in the Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries
Cor Vel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $13.63 - $21.00 per hour
