Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Site Presentation Team
We are looking to hire experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our site team in maintaining Assembly festival sites throughout the busy summer period. Working with our site management team, the presentation team will ensure all sites run smoothly and look fantastic to help welcome thousands of Fringe go‑ers to our sites and venues.
Roles are available in Edinburgh for the live festival dates in August: 5th – 31st August. Build/Break work is also available for the work periods around live operation.
Roles are paid the Real Living Wage at a minimum of £13.45 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears.
Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK; no visas are able to be offered for these roles.
Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Build & Break / Site CrewWe’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced team members to join our site carpenters and Site Managers to help build and break the Festival as well as experienced site crew for the run.
Candidates should have experience in construction/carpentry/festival or event building/fencing and scaffolding and painting as well as plant operations or build crews. Roles are offered on a contract basis and run between June and July for the build, and late August to September for the break.
Additional site crew roles are available for a full‑time rota across the festival.
Roles are paid dependent on skill set and experience but are no less than £13.45 per hour.
Assembly Roxy Production ManagerAssembly Theatre Ltd is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to support the technical management of Assembly’s year‑round home. The Roxy Production Manager will work with the Roxy General Manager to accommodate and present commercial and non‑commercial events, theatre work, music concerts and other shows within the Roxy throughout the year.
During the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the role will support the Programming and Technical teams in delivering the Festival shows in the Roxy spaces and Checkpoint, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for each of the incoming companies.
The position is based in Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh, with occasional home working and flexible working patterns where possible.
Hours:
Evening and weekend work will be required. Employees are entitled to twenty‑five days leave per year plus eight public holidays, agreed in advance.
Salary: £32,000 per annum, paid monthly.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Broadcast CoordinatorWe’re looking for a Broadcast Coordinator to lead on the coordination of media broadcast opportunities across Assembly Festival and Edinburgh Food & Folk Festival. The role sits at the intersection of press, production and media delivery, ensuring all filming, photography and broadcast activity is delivered smoothly and effectively.
The role suits someone with a background in broadcast, production or media logistics and will run through July and August to cover all festival activity.
Rate of pay: £113.50 per day based on a 48‑hour, 6‑day week. Evening and weekend work required.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Marketing AssistantWe’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of marketing activity across Assembly Festival and Edinburgh Food & Folk Festival. This varied, fast‑paced role provides administrative and operational support across both traditional and digital marketing functions.
Applicants will work closely with Marketing Managers and Digital and Social teams to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
The role is ideal for someone looking to gain broad experience across marketing in a live festival environment.
Contract runs through July and August 2026.
