Join Escape Velocity as a Senior Gameplay Designer and leverage your scripting skills to play a key role in game development. This fully remote position focuses on designing engaging gameplay mechanics for multiplayer experiences.

With over three years of experience in the gaming industry, particularly in multiplayer or live service projects, you will lead the development and implementation of dynamic match mechanics. Collaborate with various teams to document and bring these features to life in Unreal Engine, using your strong technical skills to refine gameplay through data analysis and player feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement multiplayer match mechanics

• Collaborate with teams for feature development

• Create dynamic gameplay with visual scripting tools

• Adapt gameplay based on testing and feedback

• Work with leads to ensure alignment with game vision

Requirements:

• 3+ years in multiplayer or live service gaming

• Experience with at least one AAA title

• Strong game scripting skills and knowledge of Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred)

• Vector math proficiency

• Excellent communicative and creative problem-solving skills
