Riyo Games is seeking a skilled Senior VFX Artist to craft stunning visual experiences for its JRPG, Threads of Time. Bring your talent for creating immersive effects to this remote position.

This full-time, six-month contract role focuses on designing real-time effects that enhance gameplay and cinematic storytelling. You will work closely with art leadership and multi-disciplinary teams, all while maintaining performance standards crucial for the production pipeline. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop rich real-time effects for gameplay mechanics

• Design cinematic and environment-specific visual elements

• Implement technical assets using Unreal Engine tools

• Optimize workflows and ensure consistent organization

• Coordinate with character, technical artists, and other teams

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years in VFX art within game production

• Proficient in Unreal Engine and Niagara Systems

• Understand 2D animation principles and visual details

• Experience with shaders and flip-book creation

• Strong collaborative skills and effective communication
